In accordance with the All Ontario Chiefs Conference Resolution 06/47 regarding First Nations and Public Health, the Knowledge Management Advisory Group (KMAG) was established to "provide technical and policy direction related to health information and surveillance and future First Nation immunization information management systems".

Specifically, to deploy the provincial Panorama immunization information management tool to First Nations in Ontario, beginning with the First Nation Initial Subscriber (early adopter) testing.

To ensure that the Panorama tool is responsive and respectful of First Nations' unique public health and information management needs.

To ensure First Nation information is protected and secure.

The First Nation Panorama Deployment in Ontario (FNPDiO) Project is a tri-partite initiative mandated by First Nation Leadership, via AOCC Resolution 06/47, to guide the successful implementation of a First Nation-driven, integrated public health immunization information management system (i.e. Panorama).  Its fundamental objective is to support improved health outcomes, for all First Nation communities and clients in Ontario, through the deployment of a meaningful e-health tool that is both respectful and responsive to our unique public health and information management needs and requirements.
